Lumistar has completely redesigned its LS-16 Series of Multicouplers for higher performance and more flexibility. The product line has been extended to provide capabilities between 300 MHz and 6 GHz. Most common models are single “1 IN x 8 OUT”, or a switchable “DUAL 2 IN x 4 OUT”. Having realized the need in the marketplace to provide high “output to output” isolation performance, the goal of 50 dB minimum across the entire band was met. Another useful feature came from the voice of the customer: Ability to individually vary the output power at each output, thus allowing trimming of levels to within a quarter-dB, using software control.
